Introduction to Tommy Boustead, Junior Marketing Executive

Hello everyone! Today, we're excited to introduce Tommy, an exceptional member of the Switch365 family who has made remarkable strides in just under a year. Tommy joined Switch365 fresh out of college in August 2023, starting as a New Business Advisor. During his first three months, Tommy demonstrated an impressive ability to generate leads and quickly built a solid understanding of the energy industry and our business operations.

Transition to Marketing

Recognising his potential, he was offered an opportunity to transition to our marketing team as a Junior Marketing Executive while simultaneously undergoing a marketing apprenticeship. This role allowed Tommy to apply his newly acquired knowledge directly to his work, rapidly enhancing his skills.

Stepping Up in Marketing

In a short time, Tommy's contributions became recognized and as a result of his manager leaving, he stepped up to manage a significant portion of our marketing activities, especially focusing on social media and graphic design. His creativity and strategic thinking have been key in driving our online presence and visual identity.

Key Projects and Achievements

Despite the departure of his manager, Tommy has shown remarkable resilience and dedication. He now oversees many of our marketing initiatives, continuously learning and executing innovative ideas. His journey at Switch365 is a testament to his hard work, adaptability, and passion for marketing.

Tommy has had the opportunity to be involved in various exciting projects at Switch365. One of the highlights has been working across social media with creative freedom, which has also led to an increase in online presence and brand awareness. This has allowed Tommy to develop and showcase his marketing skills and creative ability.

Office Culture and Events

He also manages the planning and execution of our fun and engaging office events, such as the Coloured Food Day, which brings a splash of creativity and joy to our team. These events help to foster a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture, making Switch365 an enjoyable place to work.

Expanding Roles and Responsibilities

Tommy's role has also expanded to include market research, email marketing, and the development of promotional materials. His ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of work is truly commendable.

Tommy's Interests Outside Work

Outside of his professional life, Tommy enjoys hiking in the Lake District, mountain biking, and open-water swimming. He is also a car fanatic. His positive attitude and willingness to learn make him a great asset to the Switch365 team.
